Why 115 cm matters

Standard DTF comes in 55-60 cm rolls. That’s fine for front chest prints. For anything wider than 50 cm — full-backs, oversized tees, workwear branding — you either splice (slow, visible seam) or upgrade to 115 cm.

FAQs

What heat press do I need for 115 cm transfers?

Any flat press with a working area of 115 cm × 100 cm or larger. Industrial flat presses (ROQ, Adkins, Stahls, Monti) handle this easily. Clamshell presses up to 50×60 cm cannot press in one go — you’d need to press in sections, which defeats the purpose.

Is the 115 cm roll better value than 55 cm?

At volume, yes. One metre of 115 cm holds roughly the same artwork as two metres of 55 cm. At 51+ m you pay €16.50 per metre of 115 cm, versus €16.90 for two metres of 55 cm (2 × €8.45). For coverage-heavy designs, large format becomes the better deal above 5 m.

Can I order a mix of 115 cm and 55 cm in the same order?

Yes. Each product goes in cart separately and shares shipping. Our express shipping rate is based on total parcel weight, not product count.

Where do you print 115 cm?

At our Barcelona facility (Calle La Fàbrica 20, Nave 4, Lliçà d’Amunt, Spain). Industrial 115 cm printer running two shifts × 16 hours. Same OEKO-TEX ECO PASSPORT inks as our 55 cm range.

How long does 115 cm DTF last after washing?

Same as our 55 cm range — around 30 wash cycles at 40 °C with proper care (inside-out, low-temp drying). Tested on cotton, polyester and blends.

How to heat-press

Our DTF transfers use 90-micron hot-peel film. Apply with any standard heat press using these settings:

• Temperature: 150 °C (302 °F)
• Time: 10–12 seconds
• Pressure: high
• Peel: hot, instant
• Post-press: 4–5 seconds with parchment or silicone paper to seal and heat-fix the print

Care: wash in cold water, garment inside-out, no aggressive detergents. With these settings transfers typically last around 30 wash cycles without visible degradation.
